Hazelwood, MO – Artur Express, Inc, a St. Louis- based transportation and logistics company, recently celebrated the groundbreaking of their new headquarters!
Built by ARCO, the new two-story 73,820 square foot terminal will feature an entire floor dedicated to drivers with a fitness center, multiple training rooms, showers, free laundry, and a café style area where they can comfortably wait and interact with each other. Artur is also including a media room for its drivers filled with comfortable couches and chairs so they can kick back and watch a movie or take a nap.
The second story, dedicated to employees, will house many conference rooms, collaboration areas, a game room, and a break/kitchen area for employees to recharge. The entire building will be filled with state-of-the-art technology making staying connected easier than ever before.
“Every idea we got for this new headquarters came directly from our employees and our drivers. They put in a lot of hours each week for us and we truly wanted this to be a place that felt like home. It’s been so special for all of us to be a part of something from the ground up. ” Said Artur Express Vice President of Operations, Kristi Randall.
Artur Express President Artur Wagrodzki said, “To finally be able to build this brand-new headquarters is very exciting. We’ve added so many employees and drivers over the last few years and with over 73,000 square feet of office and shop space in the new facility, we can’t wait to continue our growth and truly dominate in the industry.”
When asked about this exciting time at the company, Artur President Tom Tokarczyk has this to say. “We’ve learned a lot in the last 20 years that Artur Express was founded. That is why one of the driving forces behind the design of this building was establishing a truly unique company culture. Coming into this terminal everyday will be an experience for our employees and our drivers. “
The estimated completion for the new headquarters is October 2019.
